Iris Jacobs designs multidisciplinary creative programmes, workshops, masterclasses and gatherings for arts institutions, universities, academies, theatres, cultural organisations, creative professionals and private groups.

Each programme can stand alone or be developed together with a carefully selected network of facilitators, educators and practitioners working across performing arts, visual art, music, theatre, dance, acting, directing, film, storytelling and creative practice.

Programme Design by Iris Jacobs

One creative vision. Many disciplines in conversation.

Rather than approaching disciplines as separate worlds, Iris creates programmes in which different artistic practices can meet, challenge and inspire one another.

Depending on the programme, she works independently or invites experienced creative facilitators, artists and educators whose expertise serves the particular group, subject and context.

A programme might move between storytelling and movement, directing and acting, collage and narrative, theatre and music, reflection and making — always shaped around curiosity, participation and meaningful creative exchange.

How To Find Truth In Your Story.

Collaborative Programming

The programme can grow around your people and your place.

Iris can develop a programme specifically for an academy, university, theatre, museum, arts centre, festival, creative company or cultural organisation.

Depending on the brief, she can curate a combination of workshops, masterclasses, conversations, performances and interdisciplinary sessions and assemble the appropriate facilitators and educators around the programme.

The result can range from one focused masterclass to an intensive day, a weekend laboratory, a semester programme or a longer creative learning trajectory.

Creative Network

Designed by Iris Jacobs. Expanded through collaboration.

Each programme begins with a clear creative concept. From there, Iris can work with specialists from her wider artistic and educational network to create a programme with the right combination of disciplines, perspectives and voices.
