Created during the 2024 Horror Film Challenge in Barcelona (Bigoli Studios), A Wicked Women’s Circle is a short psychological horror film by Studio Iris Jacobs that explores the fragile line between ritual, sisterhood, connection, and fear.
A Wicked Women’s Circle is a short horror film about a group of women who gather for an empowering ritual; but as tensions rise, their sisterhood begins to unravel, revealing deeper fears and hidden fractures beneath the surface.
Written, directed, and produced by Studio Iris Jacobs, the film stars Nina Mirez, Ana Carolina Parisi, and Ainhoa Hevia Uria. The atmosphere was brought to life through mesmerising cinematography by Marcos Capello and Oscar La Torre, who received a symbolic ‘Best DOP’ recognition from Bigoli Studios. The haunting soundscape, crafted by Ana Luminita Ortiz Wienken and Roman Schoenbichler, and supported by sound recordist Juan Segura, added an emotional depth that lingers long after the final scene.
